A cormorant (*bird/air*) dives/plunges into water and comes out with a (*fish/water*) in its slender hooked bill; therefore although one might think the water has a creature more (a cormorant), actually it will have a creature less (a fish).

Our initial title was "Natural Beauty" with its elements of Water, Rock, Bird, Fish, Rain, Leaves. Water, a subtheme, is present in each verse: Waterfall, Ripple, Showers.
